If you take a quick glance at me you will see what everyone else notices. Just a girl of average height, about 5'6, with brown hair and brown eyes. Oh, but there is much more to me than that. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

{{My height comes mostly from my long legs. Compared to them my torso is smaller than it should be. I'm not skinny like those from lower districts but you can still see my ribs. If you didn't look close you would never notice that the solid plate below my chest are my ribs that have been pushed forward. You wouldn't notice my muscle under my skinny arms and legs either, but it is there due to my extensive training.

{{The brown in my eyes changes shades in the sun. At night they are dark brown and can easily go unnoticed. During the day they are bright brown and pop compared to my pale white skin. My eyes are farther apart than they should be because of my wide nose. Below my nose, resides my small, red lips. The smile they make is wide but is rarely seen, unless it is a sarcastic smile.

{{Naturally thick curls bend my hair in every which direction. The curls like to block my vision and I almost wish I could cut my hair short. Then again, when my hair is down it's gorgeous so I leave it long. When I train it must go back in a ponytail, otherwise I'm sure I would manage to cut something off. My hair is indeed brown but when the sun hits it just right it can show off two different colors : deep red or bleach blonde.

The above traits might seem a little harsh, but I can't help how I am! You can't judge me either, not yet. It's not wrong to be confident of yourself nor is it wrong to defend yourself when someone pisses you off. And, you know, a little friendly competition never hurt anyone either.

{{Perhaps I come off as stuck-up occasionally, but that isn't my fault. I don't let people push me around or belittle me. If you think that you could do either, then I won't be afraid to get up in your face and tell you how wrong you were. Nor do I like it when people push around younger kids. That really irritates me and I will also let those people have it.

{{It would be in your best interest to not have me as an enemy. I've been known to hold grudges for long periods of time and I don't have a problem causing trouble. Indeed, I do have a rather short fuse when it comes to my temperament. What can I say? If you're smart, or lucky, you won't have to worry about it.

{{I always enjoy a good challenge. The challenge could be anything but physical challenges always give me a rush of adrenaline. Of course, it means nothing to me if I believe my opponent isn't worth my time. My dad likes to tell me I use teenage logic about that. Honestly, I am not sure what that means, but it doesn't sound good to me.

{{As for my family, I have mixed feelings for them. Both of my parents strongly oppose my training and wish I wouldn't pursue it so much. What they don't know is I really don't want to be in the Games. If I can avoid it I will, but training for it makes it easier. What would happen if I was put in the games, completely unprepared? What if one of my younger sisters got sent? Someone had to be there to volunteer for them. They had some of their own training but not enough for them to really be careers.

My family is pretty simple on the surface. Mom and Dad are both still alive and barely have to work. We are decently wealthy but not overly so. I have an older brother and two younger sisters. Now what is under the surface is a bit trickier, but not much.

{{As already stated, I was not the first nor the last born in my family. When my brother was born my parents decided they would send him to training and hoped they could have a victor. I was one year younger than my brother and my parents planned on sending me to train a year after him. Not very long after my brother started his training he started to have a radical change in attitude. In his younger years he was a fun-loving kid, now he was turning into a narcissistic bastard, for lack of a better word.

{{I had be training a month when my parents tried to back me out of it. Even though it was only a month, I had completely immersed myself into the training and found it helped control my temper. It wasn't a lot, but it definitely helped some. My response was something of a ranting "No." How could they send me away and start my training and then suddenly decide they didn't want me to train anymore? And it was only me! They never asked my brother about stopping his training. Speaking of my brother, we had grown quite close since I started my training. We didn't necessarily relate any better, but we fed off of each other. He pushed me and I pushed him to get better.

{{Oh, I can't forget about my little sisters. The older is now 14 and and the younger is 13. They cling to each other and don't have very much to do with me. I convinced my parents to let them come to training for a short time but neither wanted to continue after two months. That was fine by me. Never would they fear the reaping, not being from a district full of careers. Even if another wasn't willing to step forward for them, I always would. Of course, that wouldn't be an option when I turned 19. Like I said before, we are in a district full of careers so they have nothing to worry about. I hoped so, anyways.
