Darren Forter.

Seventeen.

.:APPEARANCE:.
[justify]Darren has shaggy chocolate brown hair. He has rather beady eyes, which are enhanced by the large glasses that he wears. His ears are huge and rather noticeable. Darren's hair is almost always messy, which some say is cute and others say is just lazy. He brushes it this way in the morning, though.

Darren's eyes are a grey, which can be both dull or mystifying depending on who is looking. His skin is pale, which he doesn't mind. His glasses are large and square, and also not the right prescription. They're hand-me-downs from his brother.

Darren's teeth are rather large and horse-like, contributing to his very large smile. People often say that his smile is one of his cutest features. Darren loves bow ties, and can often be seen wearing one no matter what shirt he's wearing. Suspenders are also his thing. He tends to o along with the typical 'nerd' look, whether intentionally or not.

[justify]Darren is gay as the fourth of July, and he's proud to show it. His family is supportive of him, which he's very grateful for. Darren is sensitive, and the smallest thing could send him into a crying fit or a screaming rage. He's not an angry person, though. Darren doesn't stick to his projects well-- he has several blueprints and half finished projects scattered about his room, which he doesn't care to finish.

Darren has diagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder. Everything he does has to be in a certain way. He has some strange tendencies, such as biting his nails. If something isn't just so, he'll turn into a mess until it's fixed. He's usually the one to clean up around the house because of this.

The brunette is sweet, though a bit shy. If you can look pass the OCD and over sensitivity, then you have a good friend. He's easy to befriend when you have something in common with him. Darren is what one could call a mama's boy-- he couldn't live without her. Not because he's lazy and she does the cleaning, but because she is the one he confides in.

Darren has a great sense of humor. He loves building and inventing things, and is very good at it-- when he follows through with his projects. He's a very stubborn boy. Darren loves dancing, and awes people with his talent.

[justify]From a young age, Darren has been different. The fact that he cleaned up with pleasure was strange in itself, but that wasn't it. It was the fact that he was attracted to boys instead of girls. His family went along with it, and weren't surprised when he came out to them. They were okay with this. Darren's family is very good to him.

The beady eyed boy's OCD also developed at a young age. It was his way of coping with the death of his older brother, whom he was very close to. Darren began organizing in a desperate attempt at control over something. And it worked for him, so here he is today. He sees a therapist for this, but they rarely get anywhere. He's too stubborn to change.

Darren gets along well with his younger sister. She's the only sibling he has. He serves as a mentor to her, and she serves as a tether for him. She makes sure he never goes too far with his organizing and strange tendencies, which he's grateful for. Darren's dad is rarely around, so there's not much to say about him. His mother, though, is around when she can be. She has a job, but she tries to get her work done as quickly as possible so that she can get home. Darren loves her and his sister more than anything.

When Darren was younger, he wasn't shy. He was a social butterfly. But then bullies came along, and with them came a lowered self confidence. He was pushed into lockers and teased to no end, so he caved in on himself. He became quieter. This habit stuck until present time.

Howdy Nessa!

Off to a good start here and though you've theoretically met the minimum, this is too light. I need another 3 sentences in appearance, maybe about what he likes to wear or something?

And I need another paragraph of history, that's not about his family. Give me an anecdote from his life.
