Female, age 21 22 18

Appearance: At nineteen years of age Avette Ported is often described as a very lovely girl in appearance. Her skin is a light, silky chestnut that is well cared for and seems to shine in the sun. The natural flush that frosts her cheeks gives her a slightly more innocent appearance at first glance. The only mar on her skin is a large beauty mark on the back of her left shoulder blade which she often scratches at when she feels nervous or anxious.

Miss. Porter is an average height, being 5’ 6” and she is well nourished, weighing in at 132 pounds. Her height and weight have never been an issue with her. When she was a child she had always been a bit pudgy, but she has long since grown out of that faze and now carries herself well with pride.

Her eyes are wide set with long, dark eyelashes. Blue-hazel eyes compliment her skin tone and make her eyes look larger than they really are. Her eyebrows are large and bushy, curving upwards in a large, wide arc. This gives her an almost constant look of surprise. Her nose is small but wide with a pointed tip. The bridge is smooth and blends into her high cheek bones so well that it’s almost as if it isn’t there at all. Her lips are high set and large, puffing out in a permanent pucker that completely contradicts the ‘innocent’ look with inviting lips.

Long hazel colored hair frames her face in elegant waves, falling to her mid back. Natural highlights are brought out by the sun in the summer months creating a lighter caramel color. Avette usually allows her hair to fall freely without being pinned up or tied back. She likes the feel of it tickling her upper arms and chest when she wears low rise sleeveless shirts in the summer. She has considered getting it cut, but without long hair framing her face her jaw line looks square and rigid.

There is not complete feeling in her left leg after being electrocuted once in her youth, but she can move it just fine. It doesn’t often interrupt her movements, but she will find scrapes and cuts down it at the end of the day at times because she didn’t completely feel her leg brush against the thorn bush or hit the wire mesh fence of her measly yard. She has long since learned how to walk without a limp and any on looker wouldn’t even notice unless they stuck a pin in her calf and watched minimal reaction.

On a normal day Avette wears long pants, preferably jeans and short sleeved tee shirts. Her tops are usually white, but when she can find a pink one Avette jumps at the opportunity, seeing as pale pinks and purples are her favorite colors. In the winter months she swaps out her wardrobe for a select few baggy sweaters that do little to flatter her figure, but keep her toasty and warm. She hates the cold and will readily give up beauty for warmth.

Personality: On a good day Avette is a very enthusiastic girl. She’s very energetic and loves to be around lots of people. There is never a dull moment when she is around to say the least. Whenever someone is not as thrilled about something or happy as she is she tries her hardest to get them up to her level. This is because Avette has this idea that if she is happy, then others should be too. It also works the opposite way, when she is in a bad mood she feels that others do not deserve to be happy. Some people have called this behavior snobbish or controlling and she has lost many friends over it, but just as easily is she able to make new friends to replace the ones she lost.

When Avette isn’t not in a perky mood she becomes rude and irritable and makes sure to take it out on the people around her. Her choice of words becomes insulting and crude. This attitude almost completely vanishes when a handsome man is nearby though. It never ceases to amaze her friends when one of her drastic comebacks occurs; one moment she will be cursing up a storm but as soon as a ‘cutie’ walks by she is the embodiment of flirtation and excitement.

Avette has a bit of a problem when it comes to controlling herself. You could say that it is an addiction. She is always looking for a new source of pleasure and she often uses men just to fulfill this need. Not that the men don’t like it. Only once had she ever cheated on a guy with another when they were dating and she felt terrible afterwards. So from then on out she decided that she would save dating for really special guys. But until that time came she would look for every handsome man that could pleasure her.

Selfishness is the main thing that drives Avette to do the things she does. She wants to be the center of attention at all times and she wants men to fall at her feet. If that doesn’t happen then she will throw a tantrum or move on to her next prey. That’s all men were to her; prey, and she was the predator, stalking them down to satisfy her primal urges. She lost her virginity at the age of twelve before her first reaping and hasn’t been able to help herself ever since.

After being held high on a pedestal as the only child of her parents she was used to getting what she wants. Even if that meant she had to use bribery or get down and dirty to work for it, she would. And most times she would reap the benefits of her reward. After all the things that she has done for some of the men in her district she figured that she deserved it. She deserved to be rewarded for her dirty deeds.

History: Being born it district 3 made Avette’s live a simple one. Her parents, Harriet and Lloyd, both work as engineers but her father mostly designs new aerodynamics for the Capitol’s flying crafts. Avette’s mother was a kind, dark skinned woman whom time was not kind to and her father was a pale, tall man with bright hair and eyes who was always in good spirits. Many people have commented on her mixed family, but it no longer bothers Avette because she and her mother were both beautiful people and her father was open enough to see that.

With her parents support Avette is able to live on her own while only working part time for extra pocket money. That way she doesn’t bother her parents with her nightly escapades. Her home is relatively small, the biggest room being her bedroom since that is her favorite room. Her large bed is very comfortable and she has a bad habit of sleeping in on it. Her sleeping in should affect her job, but it doesn’t since she is on her boss’s sweet side.

Bribery can get you anywhere. She learned that from her babysitter when she was very young. Her babysitter had been sleeping with her dad to get a raise when her mother was still working which probably influenced Avette’s current way of thinking. To this day her mother still doesn’t know about it because her father is an excellent liar. Because of this Avette has always looked up to her father more than her mother since her mother is so easily tricked. She is still working on perfecting her lying ability, but she gets better every day.

When Avette was eight years old her father had accidently left out his work supplies on the kitchen table. The wires and circuits had proved to be too much for young Avette to pass up and she decided to play with it. As soon as she touched one of the stray wires a bolt of electricity entered her body, electrocuting her. She was paralyzed for three days and slowly the feeling in her body began to come back. Only her left leg remained paralyzed for the next year. Eventually she was able to regain full function of the leg, but the nerve endings were permanently damaged and there was loss of sensation in her leg.

Her love for men came at an early age. She had learned how easily men could be persuaded by her babysitter, and then she had become a kissing maniac in elementary school. Late elementary school to early middle school was when she learned of the pleasures that a woman can experience with her friends. One thing led to another and she was seeking to go all the way in her middle school years. Even to this day she remains unsatisfied and is always on the lookout for her next encounter of flesh.
