Tahlia has long straight blonde hair which she normally wears down and hazel eyes. She has very pale skin, but no freckles. Tahlia is 5' 6" which is an average height for her age. She is very skinny and weighs 116 pounds which is light for her age because District 7 is not the richest of districts.

Tahlia built up muscles lugging all that wood around so she has pretty good strength. She normally wears her fading blue T-shirt with her black jeans. Tahlia does have a nice red shirt which her mother makes her wear for the reaping. Even though most people consider shoes a luxery and wear them everywhere if they can afford them, Tahlia prefers to go barefoot everywhere she goes.

Tahlia has a very bubbly personality and tries to bring cheer to people even in these rough times. She often tells jokes to her friends and family to try to bring smiles to their faces. When the reaping comes around, she tries to stay positive, but her serious determined side causes her to worry for the lives of her family and friends. When Tahlia sets her mind to something she always gives her all and never gives up.

Tahlia is also very creative and is always coming up with different and unique ways to solve problems. In school everyone thought she was the smartest in her class. But, she put her head down and cried when she saw people she knew die in the hunger games. That would be her flaw, she gets too sentimental at times. As soon as she sees something sad, she always bursts into tears.

Tahlia's final side to her personality is that she daring and she never backs down from a challenge. If her friends challenged her to footraces, Tahlia would put her heart and soul into the race and win by a landslide. Although, sometimes her daring side will make her appear as though she is a mean and overly competitive person. So, all in all Tahlia is a bubbly, creative, determined and daring person who is hardworking.

Tahlia and her little sister Madeleine live with their father in District 7. Tahlia's mother died giving birth to her sister when she was two, so Tahlia barely knew her. Ever since the age of 6, Tahlia has been stacking pieces of wood with all the other kids on large boxcars to be picked up by the trains for the Capitol. She had to walk over a mile with each wheelbarrow full of wood to get from the forests to the boxcar. When Tahlia finished her work at sunset, she would go sit in the forest and try to relax. It became her special place to be alone.

When she was ten, Tahlia's father lost his leg when a tree he was chopping down fell the wrong way. Ever since then he was handicapped in a wheelchair and could no longer work for money. It was up to Tahlia and Madeleine to support the family from then on. Even with both of them working from sunrise to sunset, this is going to be Tahlia's third year signing up for tessere and this will be Madeleine's first year.

When Tahlia spends her special time in the woods, she practices throwing spears at moving objects which helps her take out her anger at the Capitol and to learn self defense in case she was ever chosen for the games. She also enjoys drawing sunsets and practicing reading and writing which could be valuable skills someday.

Being adventurous is not a flaw xD Try something else. Why wouldn't someone like her?
