Diana,preferably Ana, has beautiful, long, dark hair. She has glowing, olive skin. This is typical for a girl from District 12. Her eyes are what sets her apart. Rather that the usual gray, hers are an almond brown. Her lips are full and plump.

She is is a tad bit short. She stands right below the average height of the girls in her class. 5'6 flat footed. She only weighs a flimsy ninety lbs from her inability to have food most of the time. She exercises regularly, so she isn't bony, just skinny.

She wears whatever is available. Usually her mother's shirts, and she will wear old, worn in favorite jeans. Once the jeans are to small, she cuts them into shorts. She wears her mother's old boots. the inside used to be furry, but now it is equal to a scratching post in comfort, so usually, Ana wears socks that are longer than the boots.

Ana is extremely happy for someone in District 12. She always tries to see the lighter side of things. If she doesn't get to eat on night, she thinks of all the families who didn't eat tonight, or the night before.

She is a tad bit immature at times. When she is trying to cheer someone up, she won't stop trying, regardless of how annoyed the other person is getting.

She loves to read. Not poetry, or romance, but horror, adventure, and occasionally comical books. She has a way with words despite her only reading books that tend to focus more on basic wording. Her father is a teacher, so this is most probably why she loves reading so much.

Ana has always excelled in school. She really doesn't have to try very hard because, like her father, she has a photographic memory. She would love to be in the Hunger Games, as long as it was preventing one of her friends
from going.

Ana always has had a lot of friends. She only has a few close friends, but everybody wants to be her friend simply because of her likable nature.

Ana's history is pretty much the same as any other district 12 kid. She grew up poor, having to live with only the necessities. She has the gift of still having both her parents. Her father had always wanted a son, but he only had girls. His oldest daughter, Dakota, died in the games when she was only fourteen.This means that he takes Ana out to do all of the boyish things he usually would have done with a son. For instance, Ana's least favorite thing to do, chopping wood.

Dakota was Ana's role model. She was everything Ana wanted to be. She was pretty, smart, mature, and a quick thinker. Kota died early in the games, when her fellow tribute literally stabbed her in the back.

Ana could barely breathe for two hours after Kota died. She didn't talk to anyone, or eat anything for six days. she had lost, not only her sister, but her best friend. She was extremely glad to watch her sister's murderer get drowned in a lake by a career tribute from District 2.

She has a lot of friends in school. She doesn't try, they just always end up gravitating back to her. She has an older-had an older sister that died in the games when she was ten.

Her father is a teacher at the school down the street from her house, her mom sews clothing. All together, her family only brings home an average of 140 dollars a week.

Ana wants to be in the games. Not because she wants to go crazy on the capitol, but because she wants out of district 12, and lets face it, she wants to avenge her sister.
