Rella Tealy

District/Area: The Capitol

Appearance:
Rella is always changing her appearance to fit the styles as they come and go. Right now, her skin is a pale pink, with silver swirled designs tattooed up and down her arms. Her eyes are silver, and her hair is a shade of bubblegum pink. Her hair is long, falling in waves down to her waist. It is almost impossible to predict what style Rella will be sporting next because her appearances differ so much from each other, but she tends to dress bright and bubbly.

She is thin and stands at about 5’9”. Rella is different from the other Capitol people, though. She doesn’t copy other people’s styles, she creates her own. She has been known to come up with great hits, but also with extreme failures. She doesn't always know what will catch on with other people, but she works hard to maintain her own unique style.

Personality:
Rella is a fast thinker, and is always coming up with the next big styles and trends. Her greatest ambition is to be a stylist in the Hunger Games one day. Rella completely supports the Hunger Games, like almost everyone else in the Capitol. She will alter her appearance to support the district and tribute she is rooting for, and sponsor them throughout the games.

Rella is also a horrible gossiper, which she acknowledges. She tends to lounge around and talk for hours, accomplishing nothing. She admits that it is a bad habit, and she tries not to talk so much because once she starts, she has trouble stopping. She is afraid that being so counterproductive could hinder her chances of being a stylist and having a good career.

Unlike other people in the Capitol, Rella is something pretty rare: sympathetic. Mainly to the people in the districts, but also to some of the Avoxs. Its a bit of a struggle for her, because she feels like a traitor for not acting like the other Capitolites. Being a good citizen of the Capitol is important to her, but she thinks its a little inhumane to turn people into Avoxs and starve the lower districts. Of course, she doesn't feel sympathy towards tributes. She feels that the tributes should be honored to be chosen to participate in their Games.

History:
Rella grew up with her twin sister Maggie and both parents. They were very rich, but Rella was never spoiled. Her parents made sure that she grew up respecting authority and understanding her place in the Capitol. Each year, the Hunger Games was greatly celebrated in their family, which was what led to her supporting it so whole-heartedly in later years.

Rella’s parents fully supported her dreams to become a stylist, and helped her along the road to success. They were well-known people in the Capitol and they had many connections. One year, they even got Rella in to help out as an assistant to a Hunger Games stylist. Ever since, Rella has known that she just had to become a stylist herself.
