Ainslee is tall at 6'1 and too thin, she has almost no muscle and her bones protrude out of her body. Though this seems hideous to people in the other districts, belemia is a fairly common ailment in the capitol. She has chin length red hair that she wears in messy curls. Her face is delicate, with a squarish jaw and piercing grey eyes. Her chin has the slightest hint of a dimple. Her skin is pale as a porcelain doll. Like all Capitol residents her teeth are perfect and white.

Ainslee is covered in odd and interesting tattoos. Just underneath her left ear a huge inky spider rests on her skin, many people are scared by the tattoo and thinks it freakish. Despite that fact it is one of Ainslee's favorite tattoos. Across her back is one sparrow sitting on a branch with an identical sparrow flying through the air beside the first. A jewel toned snake is wrapped around her wrist. A feline silhouette sits elegantly on her hip and each of her fingertips hold a different type of butterfly. A tiny red heart adorns her left ankle. Most of her tattoos are conveniently placed to hide ugly scars from the abuse she suffered as a child.

Ainslee loves her tattoos and refuses to wear clothes that cover them all. She loves silk and velvet, and she always wears dresses. They often have low backs and short hems, to show off her long legs, and xylophone ribs.

She wears makeup, but not as much as the typical capitol resident. She has beauty base zero, red lipstick and smoky eyes.

Ainslee is sultry, enjoying affection and getting gifts from her 'boyfriends'. She is smarter than she seems, mostly because she plays down her intelligence to help get what she wants. Ainslee is manipulative and very observant. She can pick up on subtexts and body language, without even really trying. Ainslee has a peculiar ability to find anybody's biggest insecurity or weakness, hone in on it and be completely cruel. Despite all her pitfalls she is a soft girl, who seeks what everyone else is seeking, love and acceptance.

Ainslee hates being by herself, particularly at night, and will do anything for company, including selling herself. Despite this fact, she has no real friends or lovers, only people she uses or use her and dispose of eventually.

Ainslee loves to sing, and is excellent at it. Her nickname in the capitol is the Ink Songbird, due to her lovely voice and extensive tattoos. She also loves dancing, but only does so at parties, and in the company of men. Ainslee is a gossip fiend, like so many in the capitol and often spends her afternoons at different stores, finding out who did what, and when and to who. She also gives 'favors' for the secrets of Capitolites.

Despite her popularity among Capitol men, Ainslee is often a target of nasty rumors, and cruel gossip. Another reason she has no friends.

Ainslee comes from one of the less wealthy sections of the Capitol, something which made her all the more eager to fit in amongst the hoity toity, capitol leaders.

As a young child, her parents gave her everything they could afford, they simply adored her. Ainslee was particularly close to her father, they were practically inseparable often stargazing from the roof of their townhouse. Ainslee often thought she had the perfect family, but sometimes at night when Ainslee was supposed to be asleep she would hear her parents screaming at each other.

Her father died when Ainslee was young, about five, of a long drawn out illness (poisoned by her mother, but she doesn't know that) . Her mother remarried when Ainslee was six. Her stepfather, a creepy yellow eyed man, (several years older than her mother) molested, and abused her from the time she was seven until she was eighteen and could move out. She never talks to her relatives or her step-father anymore. She can't the psychological wounds are too painful. Every now and then, one of her maids will find her in her bedroom, no bedding on the bed crying and trying to wash off her skin.

Singing had been the only bright part of Ainslee's childhood, and the older she got the more beautiful her voice became. She began singing for capitol officials when she was fifteen, and now it is her career. She is one of the most well known performers of the capitol, often singing at important events and parties.

Because of her loveliness of face and voice, many wealthy capitol men dote on her, showering her with gifts and money. Despite her lower start, she now has influence and connections all over the capitol. (Sort of like the kings mistress in old England. ) Her house in fact, a large mansion, used to belong to a gamemaker who left it to Ainslee in his will.

The only person Ainslee truly let into her heart other than her father was a boy named, Kyer who lived in her old neighborhood. They were best friends practically from birth, and then dated all through school. When Ainslee moved to the bigger parts of the city and began taking 'gifts' from the men there, Kyer resented her. When Ainslee turned twenty she heard news that Kyer had run away from the Capitol and was killed by peacekeepers who tried to bring him in. Ainslee took an old friendship bracelet she made him from his body, (access to which was granted by another of her 'boyfriends') tied it around her ankle and hasn't taken it off since.

I modified it, this character is a little tricky, because a Capitolite is so out of my comfort zone, but I like her so I want to try.
