"BUT SHE DOESNT DERSERVE THIS!! WHY LIVE IF YOU CANT TALK!? SHE'S A SLAVE, SHE DOESNT HAVE A REASON TO LIVE! IF IT WASNT FOR ME SHE WOULDNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS! I DONT CARE ABOUT MYSELF, I CARE ABOUT HER!!! I DID WANT TO SEE HER, I REALLY DID, BUT I HAD NO IDEA IT WOULD BE LIKE THIS! ITS NOT FAIR, ITS NOT FAIR, ITS NOR FAIR!!" She screams.
Mastik kneels down to Merak who was still screaming. She hugs her and she stops screaming.

I want to scream to. I want to scream to. I want to scream to. I take the notbook and rip the intire thing in half, by the spine, so none of the paper rips. I slam the paper down to Merak's feet, but keep one sheet. I take the pen and, trying my hardest not to punch a hole in the paper, write.
"If I could die right here, right now, I would. She's not the only slave. There are others, more attempted suicides. I'm an avox to, and have tried suicide. Most probably get caught like me. I want to scream, like you. But I can't. And I'll never be able to, the only thing Mastik and I can do is suck it up. Do you think I wanted to get caught trying to cut myself? DO YOU THINK I WANTED TO WAKE UP?"

She reads it then tears form in her eyes. Mastik looks at her and wipes a tear that had begun to stream down her face.
"Mastik...Why did you have to go?" She cries.
Mastik looks at the ground. She wanted to get away from The Hunger Games. A stupid decision to run away. It was very selfish of her to, at the same time it wasnt. She went alone to get away, but she was gonna come back to get Merak if she found a way. She went, but was gonna come back. It wasnt selfish, was it? But, she got caught, right at the end of District twelve.

I just stand by and watch them. I slouch and rub my head. Then I pick up a piece of paper, and hand the pen and it to Mastik. Then I get back on the stool and watch her. I close my eyes and flash to our moments.
Doorstep.
Back door.
Falling asleep.
A week of nothing.
Stuck in a room.
Heavy Object.
Mood swings.
Getting out.
Mastik's owners house.
Throwing up.
Getting caught.
Saria's room.
Finding Merak.
Then it ended. After that Mastik was only for Merak, I guess. It makes sense, as they are sisters, but I feel so jealous. I wish my sisters were here.

Mastik pulled her close and petted her head. She see's Abbigail all alone and she gets up. Merak latches onto her leg crying for her to not let go. Mastik drags her foot, along with Merak, and goes over to Abbagail. She puts her hand on her shoulder and looks at her in a 'everything ok?' way.

I watch Merak get dragged without emotion. I nod my head yes, I"m alright. Then I begin thinking about the different things in this kitchen I can use when Merak leaves. I glance around, and my eyes rest on the thing Saria had confiscated from me. She didn't put it high enough.
I look at it for just a moment longer, then look back at Mastik. I look at Merak. I look at Saria. I look at Mister. I continue doing this. Then, of my own free will, I grab the thing and walk into the hallway. My plan isn't to kill myself, but I can already hear footsteps pounding. I walk to my room and cut open my pillow.
What I see there, my friends, is a cube. I knew it, every night I had slept on the thing, now I know what it is. I grab the cube, and the footsteps get louder. Then the door bursts open, I have no idea who it is, but I continue to examine the cube.

Mastik runs and Merak follows her to where Abbigail was going. When she makes it there she has to peek over Saria to see. She see's Abbigail examining a cube and she gives a sigh in relief. She ducks under Saira's arm and goes over to her, sitting down beside her. She see's the cut open pillow and then looks at the weapon. She then looks at Abbagail. She reaches over and hugs her.

I crunsh the box, trying to open it. It breaks and I look inside. It's a whole bunch of papers, then look at the first one. It's bank records or something, it's got lots of numbers and whatnot. I'm about to put them back, when Saria's dad comes swooping down on me with a glare and snatches the papers away.
"Go..... just go... ALL of you." He says, and Saria grabs his shoulder. I back out of the room and tug on Merak. Then, almost out of no where Saria loses her grip and her father comes flying at me with full force. He shoves me against the wall and I bang my head. Again.
"YOU NOSY BRAT!" He screams at me, and hits my gut. Saria is screaming now, trying to pull him off me, "SHE'S SEVEN!! SHE'S SEVEN!" She sreams, and he just pins me against the wall and looks at her. "So...?" He asks annoyed, and Saria glares at him, "Would you have done that to Saphire when she was seven?"
He drops me, and I zoom to Mastik. He slowly walks up to Mastik, rubbing his jaw, I think he's regaining control since he no longer replaces 's' with 'th.' He steps in front of Mastik, covering his lower face with his hand.
"Go- You go back to your owners." He tells her, and pulls me away from her. I give up, there is no use. I basically follow him out of the room. I follow him without a fuss back to the kitchen. I'm giving up. It's no use. Then, before I know it, I'm being sent out the back door to take a walk. I must come back by nightfall. I turn to him, and see his anger. I take a few steps, shakily onto the front porch, and he slams the door.
Of course, the first thing I do is look and see if Mastik and Merak are outside.
