Anxo is about 5’5”. Not exactly tall but not short either. she has big, striking blue eyes that her moma says are prettier than any gem in the whole world, even though neither of them have ever been out of the district, and to little freckles on the corner of her pretty mouth. those, her mom says, are beauty marks where the angles kissed her when she was born.
She is slender but growing into some curves, what with her being 16 and all. she is not super muscular like a lot of the other kids in the district but she is stronger than she appears.
Anxo has porcelain skin which creates a sharp contrast to her dead-straight, jet black hair. she has a sweet little mouth, shaped with soft, full lips and because her bangs are cut so severely, it gives off the effect that she has a doll face. Underneath the bangs, up in the high right corner is a scar she got when she was a little kid. Her father prefers for it to be covered up. He says it detracts from Anxo’s beauty, brings her ‘value’ down.

Anxo can be a bit of a firecracker, a trait she supposedly gets from her mother, though Anxo has never seen her mother do ‘wrong’. And ‘wrong’ is exactly the behavior Anxo projects and her father despises. The wrong behavior, by her father’s definition, is when she laughs at inappropriate things, makes comments about subjects she ‘knows little of’. She speaks out of turn and without permission. She smiles too much. She rolls her eyes, climbs trees, runs. She doesn’t eat properly, sit properly, speak, or converse properly.
In truth, Anxo hates and loves both of her parents. She hates her father more than she loves him and she loves her mother more than she hates her.
She was raised to work at the front of the jewelry store, right at the counter, assisting the very rich clients, so she was raise with refinements, manners. She can even speak in the Capitol tongue. But it is in her nature to rebel, mainly against her father and mostly in private. Her rebellious acts usually consist of breaking her father’s rules but sometimes breaking daddy’s rules aren’t too far off from bending the Capitol’s.
Anxo states her opinions almost carelessly, forgetting herself sometimes when she feels out of reach from her father’s watchful eyes. She is distinctly naïve about the repercussions of her actions. It’s a very dangerous thing, especially now that she has been ‘acting out’ more and more. In previous years Anxo had been afraid to go against her father. she had believed that, despite her father’s harshness, he knew what was best for her and her family. But since the death of her brother, Anxo has found that harder to believe. Why suffer under such a cruel father if there is no benefit? What she fails to realize is that the Capitol’s rule can be far crueler.
Such is the misconception of a sheltered life.

Anxo is the second child and only daughter of Lea and Solo Han. Her Father owns one of the biggest jewelry stores in the district and caters to a large clientele base in the Capitol.
From a very young age, Anxo was ‘groomed’ to work at the front of the store. she neded to look right, speak right, act right. she was molded to be more like a capitol resident than a district dweller.
To her father, everything and everyone has a value, a price, and with Anxo’s striking features, she was what he needed to sell and make him money. She hated it. Unfortunately, she was good at it. Customers bought more jewels, commissioned more works to be created from Anxo than many of the other assistance.
Unlike her brother, Walker, Anxo was steered away from the ‘hunger games-volunteer-tribute-winner-famous’ path. Anytime she acted outside of what was ‘proper’ for a capitalist, she was severely punished, but in no way that would damage her physical appearance.
When she was 8 years of age and her brother and she were horsing around in the yard, Anxo has tripped and hit her head on a rock. She ended up with a gash on her forehead and was never allowed to play with her brother again. Her father was cruel.
Butit wasn’t all terrible. Despite her father’s rules, Walker and Anxo grew up together as best they could. They often snuck out to play, would stay up late at night, and talk for hours. They were the best of friends and while their mother didn’t outwardly condone the disobedience and breaking of their father’s rules, she did little more than scold the two.
When they were older, both had their own separate ‘trainings’; her for the front of the shop and him for the games.
A couple games back, she lost him. Walker had done what many in District 1 are raised to do and he volunteered. He wasn’t like many of the other kids though. When Walker volunteered, he didn’t do it to become famous, to win money. He did it to please his father. It was a fault of theirs; constantly seeking their father’s approval despite his cruelty and dictatorship. In the end, her brother died at the hands of the Gamemakers and their mutts, and with his death, Anxo lost the little respect she had for her father.
Life without her brother has been very lonely.
